The Israeli military said “about 10 projectiles” were fired from the Gaza Strip within minutes on Sunday.
“After the sirens in the Rakish area at 21:01-21:02 (1801-1802 GMT), about 10 projectiles were found to have crossed Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip. Most of them successfully intercepted them.”
Later on Sunday, the military announced that it had attacked the site where the projectile was fired from a Canadian rocket launcher.
“The Israel Defense Force will continue to operate to eliminate any threats to Israeli civilians,” it said in a statement.
