Isuzu Electric Motor Leads Indian Commercial Vehicle Exporter

Isuzu Motors India (IMI) has achieved a major milestone by becoming India’s top exporter of commercial vehicles (CVS) in fiscal 2024-25. The company exported 20,312 units, a 24% increase in the previous fiscal year (16,329 units in fiscal year 2023-24). This achievement marks the new premium for Isuzu Motors India, which has been among the top three CV exporters in India in recent years.

IMI’s modern manufacturing plants in Andhra Pradesh caters to the left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) markets in Asia and the Middle East, including Nepal, Bhutan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Arabia, Bahrain, Bahrain, Qatar, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Jordan.

The company continues to play a key role in expanding Isuzu’s global presence, especially in the pickup category by leveraging India as a strategic manufacturing base for India and export markets. IMI has also expanded its domestic network touchpoint in recent months to bring the brand closer to its growing customer community. The recent launch of 100,000 vehicles from the Sri city factory further highlights the company’s long-term commitment to India.
