“It all comes down to…”

Ajay Degn said movies from around the world – Bollywood, South Film Industry and Hollywood – struggled at the box office.
Ajay Devgn said on Tuesday that the Hindi film industry is working to understand the taste of the audience in the Covid era and ensure that filmmakers try to figure out the things. The actor spoke at the trailer launch of RAID 2, a sequel to his 2018 film RAID. Devgn reprised the role of IRS official Amay Patnaik in the film Raj Kumar Gupta.
“We’re still struggling. We’re not sure what audiences will do, but we think we have an idea of how audiences can grow and change during the pandemic. And, there’s so much international content on OTT. We’re adapting to it, and that’s the way we’re changing, trying to figure things out, trying to figure out,” the actor told the members.
Devgn, 56, said the problem was not limited to Hindi cinemas. He added: “It’s not that Bollywood movies don’t work. Movies from all over the world…some people are working, some people are working. It could be Bollywood, maybe the Southern film industry or Hollywood. The same situation is everywhere.”
When asked if ticket pricing leads to a lower crowd, Singhm again said that this was not the case. I don’t think that’s the reason because if the audience comes, they’ll come at the same price. I think the audience decides to watch the movie instead of watching it. The promotional strategies we discuss won’t attract audiences. They want content. If your trailer and trailer, if your trailer and trailer land, they will all be boiling.
Talk about RAID 2, the film also features the characters of Riteish Deshmukh as Vaani Kapoor and Rajat Kapoor. The sequels are supported by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, respectively, with the support of their Banner T Series and Panoramic Studios. It will arrive at the theater on May 1. (Input with PTI)
