I’ve revealed the inspiration behind the celebrations for CSK from Pushpa: Hasaranga

Rajasthan Royals’ kick spinner Wanindu Hasaranga’s love for South Indian films is the fundamental factor behind his “Pushpa” style celebration for Chennai Super Kings in 2025.

The four-door trailer at the Sri Lankan ball Tweaker inspired the Royals to win a dynamic Sunday for the first time in the 18th cash-rich league.

In his four scalps, Hasaranga punched the Super Kings batsman’s return ticket, which was a ball with three hits.
Hasaranga added the style of the film to celebrate his successful moments. He got rid of the trademark of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster “Pushpa” to increase interest in entertainment and spices.

After the competition, Haslaranga said: “I like to watch Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil movies, and I got this movie from Pushpa movies.”

Like in the movie, Hasaranga is a hero of Rajasthan. He fired Rahul Tripathi on the first ball of the game and suddenly entered the scene. He continued to add to CSK’s annoyance, hitting the key junction, breaking the backbone of their pursuit, getting them tired, and ending his four leaps with a 4/35 figure. He added: “I tried to do my basic things, trying to get the little stump down, and in the end, I tried to hit wide. Our batsmen performed well in the first inning and we saw the wicket performance.”

Hasaranga captured Shivam Dube, Tripathi, Rutuaj Gaikwad and Vijay Shankar in the spinning network, but he likes the scalp of CSK Skipper, who threatens to play with his scalp of a scalp.

“(on his favorite wicket) Ruturaj Gaikwad is because he’s a really good player, he plays well, and I kick him out of the situation. Riyan Parag got a great grip and Hetmyer was also a gun on the field,” he said.

Rajasthan CSK tilts the windmill in 182-point defense. The top CSK star came in and shot a few shots, but eventually died and surrendered to six losses.

Although the hosts gained quite a bit of Schadenfreude, Hasaranga exudes confidence in bowling attacks, especially after they were slammed in the first two fixtures.

“We have a very good bowling offense, especially in the middle, I and Theekshana and we have different roles. Quick bowlers. Me and Theekshana and I have to play different roles, sometimes old balls, sometimes even middle,” he said.
