Jagga Reddy expands Rs 10 aid to cancer patients

Sangareddy: Telangana Pradesh Congressional Committee (TPCC) working chairman and former MLA T. Jagga Reddy called on donors to step up to help poor cancer patients. He said these patients do not have access to treatment for health and financial problems. He welcomed Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s decision to conduct free cancer testing across the state.
Jagga Reddy handed Rs 1 million in cash to Aamani, a cancer patient in Sadasivpet on Tuesday. He said Amane’s husband died and she lived with her two daughters. He said that he could not bear the health and financial problems and Armani decided to commit suicide. He explained: “I decided to help her by noticing her situation.”
The TPCC Working Chairman said he will make trouble for impoverished cancer patients to inform the Chief Minister. Aamani told Jagga Reddy that she has spent Rs 7 lakh on cancer treatment so far.
