Mosque advocates said that the paint of the exterior walls of Shahi Jama Mosque in Uttar Pradesh began on Sunday morning (March 16, 2025).
On March 12, the Allahabad High Court directed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to paint and finish whitewashing in the mosque within a week.
According to a High Court order, the ASI team conducted measurements and evaluations on March 13.
Advocates representing the side of the mosque in Sambar District Court said: “The painting of the exterior wall of Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambar has begun.” pti.
After the riots broke out on November 24 last year, after Sambhal investigated the Mughal mosque here. The two were killed and several clashes, including police, were injured.
