JD Vance reveals his “best friend” in Trump’s cabinet …and why dramatic showdowns can be held in 2028

Vice President JD Vance revealed his “best friend” in President Donald Trump’s cabinet on Monday, and also shared his thoughts on his 2028 presidential campaign.
Fox News host Martha MacCallum asked the vice president in an interview about Trump’s recent comment about the theory that the Republican candidate was his successor.
On Sunday interview Host Kristen Welker asked him about the potential standard bearer of the Maga sport in his absence in the NBC conference media.
Trump replied: “Look at Marco, you look at Jade Vance, who is great.”
Secretary of State Marco Rubio is a rising star in the administration as Trump has given him three additional jobs: AUD acting executive, acting chief archivist and acting national security adviser.
As Vice President, Vance was the most obvious choice to succeed Trump, but Rubio impressed the president and his supporters due to his loyalty.
“I don’t want to be involved,” Trump said of Vance. “I think he’s a great guy, Marco is great, a lot of it is great, and I see great solidarity, too. ”
Vance told McCallum that he did not care about any political competition with Rubio.

“He was probably the best friend in the government,” Vance said. “We kept hanging out and talking.”
Vance also praised Rubio for “doing very well” in the Trump administration and said the president was not ready to recognize his successor for a long time.
Both Rubio and Vance are campaigns in 2024, aiming to serve as Trump’s campaign partners, but the president ended up choosing Vance, a young and experienced politician.
Vance avoided questions about running for president in 2028.

“We have to do a good job for the American people, and if we do, politics will take good care of ourselves,” he said.
Trump told Welk he thinks Republicans are full of stars and they will become great presidents within four years.
“I can name 10, 15, 20 people and sit here now,” he said.
Trump added that despite “so many” wishing he would run for the third term, he had no “hope” to run for president again.
“I want to have four great years and give it to someone and then give it to someone, ideally a great Republican to push it,” Trump said.
