In the Nagarkurnool area, multiple rescue teams in the part of the Left Bank Canal (SLBC) tunnel in Domalapenta, Nagarkurnool area have stepped up operations at specific locations there.
“The team is digging carefully to rule out any possibility of a strong odor in a specific place today,” a senior official who monitored the operation said Wednesday.
“The efforts to dehydrate, remove mud and cut metal are continuing,” he said. Workers may find at least one more body Thursday afternoon.

It can be mentioned here that on Tuesday, the body of Manoj Kumar, a project engineer at the contract agency, was found and taken out of the tunnel. It was then transported to a refrigerator-style truck to his homeland in Uttar Pradesh.
So far, two bodies have been recovered and efforts are being made to recover the remaining six missing persons.
