JD(S) MLA meets with the minister and asks for the appointment of teachers

Gurmitkal Janata Dal(S) MLA Sharanagouda Kandkur urged Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa to take action, appoint teachers and establish Block Education Office in New Taluks to improve the education sector in the region.

Kandkur recently met with Bangarappa in Bangaluru, where Kandkur claimed that the lack of teachers in government-run schools was one of the reasons for the decline in education quality in Kalyan Kalnataka area.

“Of courses of 11,793 teacher positions at the high school level, there are 4,107 vacancies, while 17,274 posts have vacancies for 45,431 positions at the primary school level. And, only 50% of the teacher positions are open in the Yadgir area and only in the Yadgir area. If this situation continues to be filled, then it will be in trouble in this situation. Said.

The MLA said primary school teachers must be treated as special cases following Section 371(j) to promote them because the education department has stopped the promotion process because the issue of promoting primary schools is being tried in court.

He also said that instructions must be made to the Chief Secretary of the Department to make a decision based on the proposals for the 3,313 positions on the basis of direct appointment by the additional commissioner.

Mr Kandkul reiterated that the New Taluks, including Gurmitkal, must establish offices in Beos in the region to ensure smooth operation in Taluk and accelerate educational activities.
