Police said on Saturday (May 9, 2025) that a girl was allegedly laid off in Ranchi area of ​​Jharkhand, with five of the accused arrested, including three boys.
The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. on Thursday (May 7, 2025) in the area of ​​the Chanho Police Department, about 45 kilometers from Lanche City.
The girl filed a complaint alleging that her underage lover and four of his friends rode their motorcycles to a deserted place where they raped her.
According to the complaint, FIR was registered with the police station on Friday (May 8, 2025). It said a police team was formed and all five defendants were arrested.
The release added that three motorcycles and five cell phones were also captured from its possession.
It added that two of the five defendants were sent to prison, while three minors were sent to juvenile correctional facilities.
