A police officer said a police officer allegedly uploaded a controversial social media post about the Pahalgam terrorist attack and was arrested in the Bokaro district of Jharkhand on Wednesday.
The official added that the individual, known as MD Naushad, allegedly praised Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist attacks in an article on X. “He was arrested in Millat Nagar within the jurisdiction of the Balidih Police Department. He is being questioned,” said Naveen Kumar, head of the Balidih Police Department.
Terrorists attacked the main tourist location on Tuesday at Baisaran Meadows near Pahalgam in southern South Kashmir, killing 26 people, mainly tourists.
