Assam CM welcomes Japanese House Speaker Nukaga Fukushiro

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma welcomed the Speaker, House of Representatives Japan Nukaga Fukushiro and his senior delegation made a three-day visit with the state, as he called the visit a huge milestone, a huge milestone in deepening relations between Assam and Japan. Chief Minister Dr Salma hosted the speakers and delegation at his office in Lok Sewa Bhawan tonight, Dr Salma said: “I think it is honored to welcome the speaker and his delegation with our beautiful state of Assam. This visit proves the bond between Assam and Japan. This visit will also encourage Japanese companies to hope to enhance their cooperation in Assam and North Eastertant State.”
The Chief Minister said the visit will bring new momentum to the strategic partnership between Assam and Japan through a cooperation plan under the backward advantage of Assam 2.0.
The Chief Minister informed Nukaga Fukushiro of Assam's business ecosystem. Chief Minister Sarma mentioned his visit before the Investment and Infrastructure Summit and mentioned his meeting with Speaker Assam youth in Japan, Chief Minister Sarma said the Assam ready to open a Japanese and testing center in Asean One One Technologe Center in Kamrup.

The Chief Minister thanked the Speaker for his visit to Assam, “It is not just a visit – it is a symbol of people’s connection and future cooperation.”

The Chief Minister also informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi also exuded his confidence in the Japanese delegation’s visit to Assam, as he said the visit would help Assam and other northeastern states profit from bilateral bilateral relations between India and Japan.
Chief Secretary Ravi Kota details the booming business landscape and potential areas of cooperation in Assam. He also demonstrated the strategic position of Assam, a window to 35% of the world’s population. He also highlighted a range of opportunities including industry, tourism, skills, employment, etc., mining and minerals, environment and forests, education, ACT East policy, innovation, incubation and start-up, health and family welfare, etc.
