Lokayukta raids seven government officials in Karnataka

Lokayukta officials raided offices and residences in different areas of Karnataka on the morning of May 15. They seized movable and immovable properties, which, according to officials, were disproportionate to known sources of income.

Several teams participated in the raids involving 12 locations in Bangalore, seven of which were in Tumakuru, eight in rural Bangalore, five in Yadgir, and four in Mangaluru and Vijayapura each.

Officials attacking houses and offices are

• Tumakuru – Rajashekar, Project Director, Nirmiti Kendra

• Mangaluru – Manjunath, Director of Regional Investigation, Dakshina Kannada

• Vijayapura – Renuka Satarle, Dr. Br Ambedkar Abhivruddhi Nigama

• Bengaluru – Murali TV, Additional Director, Urban and Rural Planning Bureau

• Bangalore – Legal Metrics Inspector HR Nataraj

• Bangalore Rural – Anant Kumar, SDA, Hoskote Taluk Office

• Yadgir – Umakanth, Shahpur Taluk
