J&K Congress seeks answers about the cessation of Indo-Pak conflict

“The third country suddenly announced a ceasefire (May 10), which was subsequently implemented by India and Pakistan, raising many questions in the minds of the country’s 1.4 billion people.
“They want to know if India has accepted this third-party intervention,” Karra told Rajouri’s reporter after visiting the GMC hospital.
He also reiterated the demands of Congress President Malikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi for the whole party meeting and the special session of the parliament to discuss these issues.
Kara said: “Rahul Gandhi is very concerned about the plight of residents on the JK border. We will visit all border areas affected by the shelling in the next few days and submit a detailed report to the party’s high command.”
He also said that while Congress does not want to politicize the conflict, “third-party intervention is targeting our established foreign policy.”
“Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi faced similar pressure in the 1971 war, but did not allow her country to bow in front of anyone,” Kara said.
Accompanied by the work chairman Raman Bhalla, MLA Iftikhar Ahmad and chief spokesman Ravinder Sharma, Karra visited areas affected by the bombardment of Pakistanis under Thannmandi, Rajouri and Nowshera, as well as rescue personnel set up for rescue camps for relief camps.
Kara said that immediate payment of former Gratia relief and proper recovery of affected people should be the top priority of the government.
