SC blocks appointments from WAQF board of directors, from railings representing registered property to the next hearing – Economic Times Video

After the Supreme Court hearing, Aimim Chief Asaduddin Owaisi called the WAQF Act “unconstitutional”. During JPC deliberations and parliamentary debates, he reiterated his opposition to the bill. SC stopped the new appointment to the WAQF Board in its interim order and banned the designation of registering WAQF Properties until the next hearing, as clarified by Advocate Barun Sinha.
