Mr Singh retired on Thursday, writing on his Facebook account: “Mohtarma badi shararat karti hai, bijli ka bill nahin bharti hai, phir manch par sarkar ko kosti hai, aisa kaisa chalega” (Madam plays mischief, she does not pay electricity bills, then curses government from public platform. How will this work?”

“If Vikramaditya Singh is Raja Babu, I am also the queen,” Kangana said at a party in Sarkaghat, Mandi on Thursday.

Mr Singh is the son of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and State Council Director Pratibha Singh, the successor to the former Rampur Estate.

She said earlier, the sales of electricity at Rs 5,000 were as high as Rs 80,000 and questioned whether she was running a factory in the house.

HPSEBL said in a statement issued on Wednesday that the bill totaled Rs 90,384 was two months, January and February, and also included the previous Rs 32,287 dues.

“The domestic connection under No. 100000838073 is registered under Kangana Ranaut, her residence in Simsa Village, Manali.” Clarification said that the connecting load of her house was 94.82 kW, which was 1,500% higher than the average power load of a regular house. “She (Ranaut) did not pay the bill from October to December,” HPSEBL said in a statement.
