JS company calls on GVMC DY Mayor’s leadership

Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena company Peethala Murthy Yadav has formally called on the party’s chief K. Pawan Kalyan and Nadendla Manohar, chairman of the Political Affairs Committee, to ensure the party’s deputy mayorship.
In his letter to both leaders, he stressed that ensuring the deputy mayor’s post would be “pride in the party” and “jewels of alliance solidarity”. He noted that party members and supporters of Visakhapatnam were eager to see Jana Sena’s representative in the position of deputy mayor.
He wrote in his appeal: “The citizens of GVMC strongly support Jana Sena and hope that their wishes will only be achieved through the Jana Sena deputy mayor candidate.”
He stressed that in previous mayoral elections, the Telugu DESAM (TD) allegedly promised to assign the deputy mayoral position to Jana Sena. He also noted that in last year’s GVMC Standing Committee election, Jana Sena supported TD candidates in all ten positions without having to seek any positions for herself.
According to Murthy Yadav, Jana Sena directed important political power in the company with 17 votes – including three elected companies, three MLAs and 11 partners from other parties. He claimed that this support was crucial to the league’s victory in securing the mayorship.
