“Electric vehicles account for over 60% of CY25’s mom sales (one month per month). We will carry this momentum throughout the year and be sure our electric vehicles will drive 60-65% of our total sales by the end of the year,” said Rakesh Sen, Director of Sales and Marketing, JSW MG Motor India Director India Director.

JSW MG Motor India will also expand its new Energy Wearth portfolio with MG Networking Machines and MG M9, which will be retailed through its new “Accessible Luxury” channel, MG Select.

Regarding the good traction that Windsor witnessed, he said the model’s “excellent value proposition” has received good reviews from customers.

He added: “In addition, with MG Windsor, we have successfully addressed category barriers and eliminated several myths of Indian electric vehicles through our innovative approach.”

Windsor has become the fastest electric vehicle model to achieve 20,000 cumulative sales milestones, Sen said.

The company launched Windsor last September and proposed an ownership plan through Battery Service (BAAS) and claimed that owning the model costs the same as a compact SUV with a manual engine.
