Julien Baker cancels Torres

Julien Baker and Torres announced the cancellation of the rest of the tour in support of Sunday's new album “Send A Ara Prayer My Way.” “Julien Baker prioritizes her well-being and spends time focusing on her health because of recent events,” read a statement on Baker’s Instagram. “So, Julien Baker & Torres's 'Praying to My Way'' trip was cancelled. This decision was not made easily and we understand the disappointment this could have caused to fans. We appreciate your understanding.”

The two held a tour in Richmond on April 23 and are scheduled to last until September 13. In addition, they booked performances at Kilby Block Party in Utah, Pickathon in Oregon, Newport Folk Festival, Outside Land in San Francisco, Milwaukee’s summer moves, and Louisville’s summer and Louisville’s museums and festivals.

On May 1, Baker and Torres own a whole house in Tipitinas, New Orleans, and next time it is scheduled to perform in San Antonio on Sunday night, before the trek is ignored.

However, Baker didn’t mention what the “recent events” that led to the cancellation of the tour were. Just three days ago, Baker shared a performance video with the caption on Instagram: “The fun of playing these songs for everyone is incredible… Be aware of more travel news.”
