Guwahati: The final ceremony of BSF Constable Deepak Chingakham will be held on Tuesday in Thoubal, Manipur Province, succumb to the injuries suffered by J&K’s RS Pura department in J&K’s RS Pura department. His body is expected to arrive in Istanil on Tuesday. Sources say Martyred Jawan will receive statewide honors.Chimngakham was one of eight BSF personnel injured in a cross-border shelling along the border in the RS Pura department on May 10.
The father of the deceased said he was proud of his 25-year-old son. “We are very proud of his sacrifice. He joined BSF in April 2021 and is the only family to support the family. I can’t work due to health issues,” said Chingakham Bonibihari Singh, the father of the fallen police officer.
Former CM N Biren Singh begged the death of the BSF police officer.
