Annamayya police have warned to take action to share old videos of two other people’s old videos against BJP leaders. Police said the attack occurred in 2023 and the attacker was arrested.
Annamayya police clarified a video in which the BJP leader was beaten by two other people and is now ill. According to police, the BJP leader who was attacked was Balaka Venugopal Reddy, 58, of Burakayalakota, Molakalacheruvu Mandal, a member of the BJP Commerce Cell.
The attacker was Kondreddy Timma Sekhar of Tambalapalli Mandal, former president of Tambalapalli BJP St Cell Morcha and his friend Reddem Mahesh Reddy. He is a follower of former BJP Governor Somu Veerraju.
“Mr. Venugopal Reddy, a follower of current BJP Governor Daggubati Purandeswari, filed a complaint with the party’s senior commander, accusing him of accusing anti-party activities and aroused his anger. Mr. Timma Sekhar and his friend attacked Mr. Venugopal Reddy on December 28, 2023. Police said: “Molakalacheruvu police and attackers were arrested. ”
Police say those who spread the video as a new attack will face action.
