Nikita Casap, a 17-year-old American high school student, was booked for suspected murder of his parents. According to official documents cited in the media, the murder is part of a broader plan to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump and overturn his administration’s plans.
Kasap arrested
Casap is facing charges of killing his mother, 35-year-old Tatiana Casap and his stepfather Donald Mayer, who were found dead in their home on February 28. However, authorities believe the two were killed a few weeks ago, weeks ago or around February. The teenager was accused of having a first-degree intentional killing of the body and retaining the body and other identities.
Investigators said CASAP was stopped by police while driving a Volkswagen Atlas car belonging to Mayer in Kansas the same day the body was found.
There were reportedly 0.357 pistols in the car, four credit cards belonging to Mayer and his wife, multiple pieces of jewelry, a pried safety deposit box and $14,000 in cash.
CASAP is said to be popular with Hitler
Investigators say the so-called double murder is clearly an effort to obtain the “financial means and autonomy” required by the CASAP program.
According to the search warrant, CASAP’s cell phone contains material related to neo-Nazi groups and praised Adolf Hitler. Investigators also found the work in which CASAP allegedly detailed his plans to kill Trump and overthrow the U.S. government. He expressed the cover-up of white supremacists and wanted to assassinate the president and start a political revolution. Court documents further accused the defendant of talking to people in Russia about plans. CASAP paid for several items, including drones and explosives.
Court hearing
The suspect held a preliminary court hearing on April 9 and will appear next time on May 7.
