Gadag Tontadaria Mutt’s Siddarama Swami said the followers of “Santana” deliberately tried to mislead Basavanna’s followers by publishing books like “Vachana Darshana” to distort the goals and aspirations of the twelfth-century Vachanas.
He spoke on the published book Vachana dashana: Mithya vs Satya, co-organized by Lingayat Mathadipathigala Okkuta, Jagatika Lingayat Mahasabha, Akhil Bharat Veerashaiva Lingayat Mahasabha, Lingayat Dharma Mahasabha, Samia Mahasabha, Samia samiy dara basia basia basia basia basia basia basia basia and Basia and akhil bharat veerashaiva lingayat mahasabha. The prophet called on the Lingayats to unite and convey the message of the twelfth century Sharanas led by Basavanna and conveyed through the Vachanas, thus protecting the Lingayat religion. “Otherwise, vested interests will distort the meaning of Vacanas to mislead people and achieve the goal of ongoing discrimination based on color, caste and gender,” he said.
“Their goal is to deliberately mask the intellectual thinking process and scientific nature of Vachans, and for this purpose, purposes like ‘Vachana dashana’ have been published to push people toward superstition again. The current book is intended to reveal hidden agendas and show false propaganda,” said Dr.
Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Swami of Moorusavir Mutt of Hubballi said that while the analysis of Vachanas is required, the intention behind it should be pure and academic. “However, the intention of listing the book ‘Vachana dashana’ seems to be Malafed. So we strongly oppose the book, and the book has been brought out to reveal the truth and reveal the false narrative.”
The Prophet called the book a twisted inference of Vachanas introduced in the book “Vachana dashana”. “It should be committed to Basava Philospophy, and when religious stigmas, everyone should unite to raise their voices,” he said.
Shivanand Jamdar, national secretary of Jagatika Lingayat Mahasabha, said the controversial book “Vachana Darshana” was edited by the anti-linguistic prophet, who worked with his followers of “Sanatana” to misunderstand Basavana’s followers. “All the prophets and followers of Basavana will meet with the Chief Minister, urging him to seize the copy of the book and not allow reprinting it,” he said.
