Recent reports show that Kajal Aggarwal may have officially joined Ramayanaa highly anticipated mythological epic directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The actress is said to portray the role of Mandodari, Ravana’s first wife, the character posted in the movie by Kannada superstar Yash. If this is true, it will be the first time Kajal and Yash share screen space.

Kajal stated to the Etimes actor: “Kajal just performed her appearance test last week and will play the role of Mandodari. She recently started filming.
Mandodari, a less explored but important number Ramayanausually portrayed as a smart and virtuous woman. According to the original epic, she is known for her wisdom, dedication and moral compass, which contrasts with the final fall of Lavanna. Her presence in the narrative is usually the voice of Lanka’s rationality, urging peace and justice.
Kajal’s cast adds a layer of gravity to the already star-studded project. Earlier reports suggest actress Sakshi Tanwar has previously worked with Tiwari and received wide acclaim Dangerthe role is being considered. However, the manufacturer has now locked Kajal on the part and the actress has started shooting for her share.
