Kallakurichi police exclude foul actions in accident involving Madurai Adheenam vehicle, warning those who spread false information

Kallakurichi District Police ruled out any foul game in a Madurai Adheenam vehicle near Ulundurpet in the area on May 2, 2025.

Police said information later said Adheenam had an accident in an SUV heading to Chennai and a car occurred at the Salem roundabout near Ulundurpet and a team of police arrived to investigate. However, both vehicles left the area before police arrived.

Police carefully read CCTV footage from the area and found Adheenam's SUV heading to Chennai along the service road along the Ajees Nagar in Ulundurpet instead of the overpass. The SUV is heading towards a car passing through a barricade and it is moving at high speed.

“The accident occurred around 9.45 am and the losses of both vehicles were small. After that, a dispute broke out between the crew members of the two vehicles and they left the scene,” police said.

Meanwhile, the news has been touring on social media to try to try Adheenam's life. Adheenam himself claimed that his life had tried.

A preliminary police investigation showed that no such incident occurred. The accident occurred due to serious negligence of the driver of the Adheenam vehicle running at high speed. So far, Adheenam or anyone else who belongs to Mutt has filed any complaints with the police.

Police warned: “Strict action will be taken against those who forward false news and rumors about accidents.”
