Kannur University’s internal marker enters the system crashes

The internal number of the four-year undergraduate course (FYUGP) semester 2 of Kannur University collapsed, with the Kerala Education Management and Program Management Resources (K-REAP) software operated by Maharashtra Knowledge Company (MKCL) has become non-functional. This prevents teachers from uploading tags.
The academic crisis has been further deepened by the ongoing errors in the university examination system. This is the second major failure of university software in university software. After the failure, the university extended the deadlines for all affiliated colleges by rescheduling the filing dates for internal trademarks from April 23 to May 5 in a letter dated.
Kannur University has earlier caused controversy by handing over important functions, including student admissions and exams, to MKCL, without legally binding contracts. MKCL’s inability to manage internal trademark submissions for the second semester has raised serious concerns about the reliability of the upcoming academic process.
The bodies of teachers such as the Kerala Private School Teachers Association and the UDF Senator Forum earlier warned that relying on the MKCL system could lead to catastrophic failures. They urged the university to reconsider its engagement with MKCL during its annual Senate meeting and marked the company as unreliable.
Ongoing technical failures have exacerbated fresh demand for universities to terminate their association with MKCL and implement stronger systems to protect academic integrity.
