Mutharasan says

AIADMK succumbed to the people of Tamil Nadu, succumbed to pressure and was consistent with the BJP, and despite earlier denials, alleged on Monday that the Communist Party of India (CPI) Secretary of State R. Mutharasan on Monday.
Speaking to media sources at Nagapattinam, Mr Mutharasan said that AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami once announced that there was no alliance or relationship with the BJP. “Now, he not only acknowledged the alliance, but he defended it saying that they would face anything. In doing so, he turned his back to the people of Tamil Nadu.”
Mr Mousalasan said even AIADMK cadres and supporters were reluctant to accept the coalition and claimed that the party’s decision was driven by fears of law enforcement (ED) actions rather than political or ideological beliefs.
Commenting on recent controversy involving Minister K. Ponmudy, Mutharasan said seeking forgiveness after realizing his mistakes is part of Tamil culture and must be respected.
