YSRC supporter Paleti Krishnaveni custody until 14 days

Palnadu: On Friday, the court gave YSRC supporter and activist Paleti Krishnaveni a 14-day judicial custody, which involved allegations with her posting provocative and defamatory content on social media platforms.

Dachepalli police acted in a complaint filed by Chilumula Durga Rao in Nadikudi Village, tracking Krishnaveni to Hyderabad and detaining her. Initially, she was detained at the LB Nagar Police Department and was then transferred to Dachepalli on Wednesday night for further inquiry.

She has also been accused of transforming photos of the leaders of the Ruling Alliance and sharing obscene and offensive content on social media. Her recent reference to a meeting between former Vice President Naidu and MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga reportedly sparked anger and further exacerbated backlash.

The case was conducted under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Article 196(1) and 353(2) of Article 67 of the IT Act.
