Here, the body of a 46-year-old lawyer was found near the CV Raman estate in Kengeri, police said Saturday. They said the deceased was identified as Jagadeesha H, a resident of the Kengeri SMV layout.
Police said the 103 (1) (murder) case of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita was registered against an unknown person based on the incident that occurred around 10.30 p.m. on Friday, according to complaints from the victim's relatives.
According to police, relatives in the complaint claimed that Jagadishu's body was found about 150 meters away from his car, which was completely damaged. However, the parking lights of his vehicle were on and the door was locked. The deceased had severe damage marks on the head, left leg and abdomen.
The complainant further claimed that some wrongdoing destroyed the attorney's car with the intention of killing him. They forced him out of the car and hit him with their weapons. Police added that lawyers are missing their phones, too. “We have registered a case and are investigating it,” a senior police officer said.
