Kerala CM term Shaji N. Karun is an idol of world cinema

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan praised Shaji N. Karun as an idol of the World Cinema.
In a message of condolences, Vijayan said that Mr. Karen’s work brought national and international reputation to Malayalam cinemas.
He said Mr. Karen is known for his exquisite frame that captures dramatic moments thoroughly. Mr. Karun is also an expert in photography, editing and picture technology.
Mr. Karen is the flagpole of the New Wave, sweeping Malayalam cinemas in the 1970s. His job, PilaweIn an emergency, the pain of losing the son (Rajan) father (every Val) makes the pain of the father (every warrior) immortal.
Mr. Vijayan said Mr. Karen’s films are political. As a mobile, Mr. Karen is the standard bearer of progressive politics and humanism. “Mr. Karen is a determined leftist traveler,” he said.
Mr. Vijayan remembers that Mr. Karen’s contribution was the President of the State of Purogamana Kala Sahitya Sangham. “His death was a loss to Kerala,” Vijayan said.
The head of opposition VD Satheesan pointed out that the late photographer created a niche at the World Cinema.
Mr Satheesan said Mr Karun could accurately convert the film story of world-renowned director Alavendan into celluloid. He added: “Mr. Karen can read Alavendan’s thoughts while waving his camera.”
He said Mr. Karen overturned the trap of commercial film art. The Cannes Film Festival curator chose his films, including Piravi, Swam and Vanaprastha for competitions and screenings.
