Kerala Film Awards to be presented on Wednesday

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be presented here at 6.30pm on Wednesday at the Kerala Film Awards 2023 at the Nishagandhi Auditorium. Minister of Cultural Affairs Saji Cherian will preside over the function. The Chief Minister will present the JC Daniel Award, the state government’s highest film honor, to film producer Shaji N. Karun.
A total of 48 film characters, including Urvashi, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Blessy, Vijayaraghavan, Resul Pookutty, Vidhyadharan Master, Jeo Baby, Joju George, Roshan Mathew and Sangeeth Prathap, will receive awards for the year. Ministers V. Sivankutty, Kn Balagopal and K. Rajan; VK Prasanth, MLA; Panchayat Regional President D. Suresh Kumar; Culture Minister Divya S. Iyer; JC Daniel Prize Jury Chairman Chandran, State Film Award Jury Chairman Sudhir Mishra; Chalachitra Academy Chairman and Secretary C. Ajoy; Kerala Cultural Activists Welfare Foundation Chairman will participate in the function.
The feature will be before that, and then a music concert by Stephen Devassy and his band “Solid”.
