Hyderabad: In the large Dalit propaganda, BJP Telangana President and Trade Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy participated in the cleaning of Dr. Ambedkar’s statue in several places in the city ahead of the birthday of the Father of the Indian Constitution.
Kishan Reddy said the Narendra Modi government has re-familiarized with the ideals of the great Mahatma and called on people to celebrate the birth of Dr. Ambedkar as a major festival on April 14.
Kishan Reddy said the centre had installed a portrait of Dr. Ambedkar in the central hall of the parliament. The government has developed five locations related to Ambedkar to promote tourism
The BJP has called on party workers to participate in cleaning the statues of Ambedka across the country and educate the masses through workshops on his works. By contrast, Congress leader Jawaharlal Nehru tried to defeat Dr. Ambedkar in the general election. Congress also denied him, Bharat Ratna.
Kishan Reddy said that despite his contribution as a social reformer in this country, the Congress party did not give him the respect he deserved.
