Kl Rahul claimed Chinnaswamy was his home court after his sixth win against RCB, and his powerful Kantara-style celebrations were all the rage after winning six games.

Delhi Capital Batsman KL Rahul attracted all the attention on Thursday, April 8, not only for batting, but also for his special celebrations after the game. In the M Chinnaswamy Stadium against Royal Challenger Bengaluru, Rahul circled a circle on the ground and covered the bats in the middle. This moment was inspired by the Kannada movie Kantara.

The powerful celebrations show Rahul’s deep connection to the ground. After the game, he said it was he showing that Chinnaswamy was his home court and he knew better than anyone else.

“It’s a special place for me. The celebration comes from one of my favorite movies, Kantara. Just a small reminder, this ground, this is where I grew up, this is mine,” Rahul said.

Rahul scored 93 runs in the race and was full of confidence. He used to be known for his slow game, but this season he is putting more energy and taking more opportunities. He’s still hitting the field in the middle, not opening the inning, which is a big change for him.

His celebrations are popular online. Fans not only praised his batting but also the way he showed love for his home court.

He added: “I know this ground better than anyone else. I just want to start well, play confidently and see how the game goes.”

Rahul missed his first game of the season as he became a father. But upon returning, he played two of only three games. This season, he proved his critics.
