The United States will shift its focus to nuclear program to contain Tehran

According to Steve Witkoff, the top Middle East envoy to U.S. President Donald Trump, Washington will focus on limiting Iran’s missile capabilities and uranium enrichment, rather than dismantling its entire nuclear program.

Witkoff leads the U.S. delegation to nuclear negotiations with the Islamic Republic, which began last Saturday as a mediator between long-time rivals in Muscat, the capital of Oman. They will meet again on April 19.

The Trump administration’s signal is ready to accept some rich signs marking an important diplomatic step. It violates us with ours and Israel’s hard forests, who want to demolish Iran’s entire nuclear program while reducing the urgency of restoring UN Security Council sanctions, demanding that Iran suspend all wealth-related activities.
Widow told Fox News, adding: “This will be related to verification of the verification plan and then ultimately weaponizing it. “Verification will be a key point in the protocol. We will conduct very strict verification. ”

Iran is ready to guarantee

Iranian officials, including Masoud Pezeshkian, have said they are ready to provide assurances and verifications to prove that Iran will not seek nuclear weapons and hope to reach a deal with the original 2015 initial agreement, originally called the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan – which Trump waived during his first term.
Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that the tentative optimism surrounding the negotiations so far, saying on Tuesday that the first round of negotiations was “good” and gave them a firm green light. “The red line and our other side and we should both continue. Negotiations should continue. They may produce results,” he said in a statement on the official telegraph channel.
Khamenei reluctantly supported the 2015 nuclear deal, facing many opposition from his tough political supporters. Trump’s decision to withdraw from the deal in 2018 has triggered a security crisis that has almost led to a war with Iran. Khamenei often condemned engagement with the United States, saying that maintaining the agreement is never credible.
Iran is gradually starting to enrich uranium levels, far exceeding the 3.67% purity limit set by Trump under the original terms of the 2015 deal after he abandoned the agreement in his first term.
