Knef, a 52-year-old woman, raised her partner, let him die in bed, and told police that he had been sentenced to 16 years in jail for killing herself

A woman cut her partner and let him die in bed and told police that he had committed suicide for 16 years.

Joanna Wronska, 52, of Five Terre Gwyn of Caia Park, Wrexham, stabbed and killed her partner Marcin Koziol, who killed him in a “brutal and violent attack” on October 23, 2023, and then told police that he had hurt himself.

Wronska tried his best to cover up her crime, and the police found a clean knife on the kitchen sink and faucet.

Despite maintaining his innocence at the trial, it took less than 90 minutes to convict after a jury held a nine-day trial at Moore Crown Court as a pathologist questioned how Mr. Koziol stabbed himself with such force.

It is believed that under a drunken temper, Voronka picked up a knife and stabbed her partner.

Shortly before 6.15pm, Wronska called police from their home in North Wales, claiming that her partner, Mr. Koziol, had a knife.

When police arrived at their home, they were given to the injured Mr. Koziol, who was lying on the bed with a large stab wound to his chest.

Despite the nursing staff being called, Mr. Kozier died tragically from the wound.

Joanna Wronska (52-year-old Joanna Wronska, of Caia Park, Wrexham, was sentenced to 16 years in jail after she stabbed and killed her partner Marcin Koziol.

Wronska told police that the horrible single stab wound on her partner’s chest was the result of Kozial’s attempt to commit suicide.

She told the officer that the couple was alone at home and nothing happened before the incident.

The killer claimed that when she walked into the bedroom, she found her partner lying in bed, covered with her own blood, and he asked her to call an ambulance.

But the police could not find the knife in the bedroom and after searching the property, they found a clean knife that matched the size of the stab wound in the sink.

Crime scene investigators later discovered blood around the bathroom sink and faucet, and Warrenska had been wiping her hands when officers arrived.

Wronska claims she was innocent throughout the trial, but pathologists who performed the autopsy were worried about how right-handed men could cause their chest wounds at such an angle – and had such extreme power to ripple the three ribs and completely ripple.

Following Monday’s verdict, Detective Chief Inspector Eleri Thomas said: “Joanna Wronska unconsciously ended Marcin Koziol’s life – her partner, whom she claimed she loved her deeply.

“It was a cruel and violent attack on a man seeking her support.

Wronska then went to great lengths to cover up her crimes and claimed that Marcin killed himself, causing countless trauma to his family, some of whom had to endure the torture of evidence and then was forced to listen to her lies throughout the trial.

“The thorough and diligent work of the investigation team helped the jury reveal her lies and ensure justice for Masin’s loved ones.

“I want to thank all the people who came forward to the investigation, including the first responders who tried to save lives.

“We will never know what drove Warrenska to end Masin’s life, but I hope her beliefs and the results today have brought some small breath to his family. ”
