Kollam Police Book Kesari Editor NR Madhu accused of creating hatred among communities

The Kizhakkekallada police in Kollam district registered the first information report (FIR) based on a complaint filed by the local secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)]Velayudhan.

Mr. Madhu allegedly portrayed Vedan, who came from the Dalit community and was officially named “Unbelievable Character”, who mocked art and injected caste venom into society.

Mr. Madu allegedly claimed that separatist forces and those countries eager to disintegrate supported Vedan. He condemned the rhythm and poetry performances of the Temple Management Company during the festival. He said they might as well hold a “singing and dancing performance.” Police are reviewing whether Mr. Madhu has violated the pre-determined caste regulations and the Pre-determined Tribes (Prevention of Abuse) Act of 1989

Mr Madhu has been under fire for accusing Kerala of burnt meat. Only Hindus died from the consumption of Shawarma, an Arabic dish made of thin cured meat that gained widespread popularity in Kerala rather than “Christian or Muslim”.

CPI(M) Secretary of State MV Govindan said the concept of RSS’s “food purity” is closely related to Hindu and feudal caste systems, which estimates meat consumers (mostly from society, Dalit, Christian, Christian and Muslim).
