Kottayam Government Nursing College ragging case in police file archives

Police filed a fee table on Friday against five government nursing students here who were accused of brutalizingly sabotaging some juniors over a few months.
The fee form is filed here in the Ettumanoor District Court. Police said the court inspected the charge form and accepted it.
They say there are only five defendants in the case – Samuel Johnson (20), Rahul Raj (22), Jiv (18), Rijil Jith (20) and Vivek (21) – arrested on February 12.
It said a thorough investigation was conducted in the case, which had 40 witnesses and contained 32 documents in the charge form.
Police said it mentioned in the charge sheet that the defendants celebrated and rejoiced as they recorded the ragged video and the victims wriggled in pain.
Police added that in this case, the defendant, who is also an ordinary drug addict, had a crucial evidence of the recording of the junk video. It also said more evidence of rags was recovered from the defendant’s cell phone.
Police said in the charge form that hotel and university authorities did not know it was ragged. It also said that the defendants have been harassing victims since November and have been making money from them.
What is happening in the Nursing School disrupted the cruel visual effects of a junior high school student in the college in February, which surfaced on social media. This suggests that the victim was tied to the crib and repeatedly pierced with a compass.
The video also shows that the victim was stripped of half naked and suffered horrific behavior, including tying dumbbells to his private parts and being tied to a crib and poured into his mouth.
All five defendant students were fired.
They were arrested after the banned Rabo Act registration after complaints that the rampage of nursing schools operated under government medical schools has been underway for nearly three months. The arrested student is currently in a district prison.
