The bride abandoned Mungrastra shortly after Anwaram got married

Kakinada: Shortly after the wedding at the Annavaran Mountain Shrine on Saturday, a bride abandoned her mangalasutra, saying the ceremony was conducted against her will.
According to sources, the bride (22) in the Parnadu region and the groom (42) in the Nellor region came from different castes, which was an arranged marriage.
After the wedding ceremony, the bride began to cry. After that, some pilgrims intervened and asked her why. She replied that the marriage was against her wishes.
Here, the bride’s parents tell the pilgrims and temple security personnel that marriage is done for the benefit of the bride.
Around this time, Annavaram police entered the scene. The bride’s parents told them that they were poor and that the marriage took place after accepting the bride’s consent. The full cost of the groom, including the bride’s clothes. They said the bride bought clothes that cost Rs 40,000. But she changed her mind shortly after her marriage and abandoned Mungrastra.
The bride’s parents went on to tell the police that their daughter wanted to marry a movie actor and wondered how that was possible.
Anwaram police then consulted the bride and groom for the party. After consultation, the bride told police that she would remarry in the village.
