Royal Challenger Bangalore vs Punjab Kings | RCB vs PBKS Live Score Update, IPL Cricket 2025: Front

Royal Challenger Bengaluru (RCB) has little time to recover in a vital IPL 2025 fixture held in New Chandigarh today. Five goals were lost in a rain-affected game against the same opponent on Friday, and the RCB will be eager to rebound and perform better, especially in the case of Bats.

In the last encounter, the RCB could only call 95/9 in 14 matches, while Tim David was the only standout in the otherwise haunting outing. The highest order collapsed under pressure, with Captain Rajat Patidar all falling cheaply. After the match, Patidar acknowledged that the team lacked a critical partnership and needed a quick reorganization to address these shortcomings.

As both sides make a rematch, RCB (currently fourth on the order table) will rely heavily on Salt and Kohli to provide a big start. The middle order includes Patidar, Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma, Krunal Pandya and Tim David, and if they are to challenge confident PBKS clothing, they will need to step up their support and support the cause.

The bowling units of RCB, led by Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, showed promise, but more support is needed from Yash Dayal, Krunal and Suyash Sharma, among others. Hazlewood stressed the enthusiasm for gaining the last game, especially how RCB fought back against the ball despite the score below the bar.

On the other hand, the Punjab king looked sharp under Shreyas Iyer. With five wins in seven games, they are currently ranked second on the table, only behind the Delhi capital. Their balanced bowling raids have been the key to their success, while Arshdeep Singh, Xavier Bartlett and Marco Jansen consistently shoot.

Leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been a revelation of PBK this season, playing the offensive role and picking up wickets in the middle. Captain Iyer believes Chahal brought energy and intention to the attack, highlighting his importance in the bowling program.

When it comes to batting, the young feeling Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh are expected to set the tone at the top. Middle-order with the likes of Al, Josh Ingris, Nihar Wardra, Shashank Singh and Marcus Stonis possess firepower and stability – making PBKS a powerful unit.

Sunday’s clash is expected to hold an exciting game at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International International Cricket Stadium as both teams are eager to solidify their playoffs. The competition is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
