LADKI Bahin Program Turbo Budget and Alliance in Maharashtra

Maharashtra's flagship Ladki Bahin plan to help bring the Mahayuti Alliance back into control, now causing significant financial pressure and internal cracks. Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat has publicly criticized the Ministry of Finance, led by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, after previously redirecting the spending of the plan after allocating Rs 4.5 crore to its department.“I learned that about Rs 410 crore has been taken away from my department,” Shirsat said. “If you don't value the Ministry of Social Justice or think it's unnecessary, then turn it off.” There is a limit to my tolerance. Shirsat's anger was directed at the Treasury, claiming that funds from his ministry could not be legally redistributed without his consent.
Fund transfer
The Ministry of Finance has transferred Rs 4.1 crore from Shirsat's Ministry of Social Justice and Rs 3.35 crore from the Ministry of Tribal Welfare planned by LADKI Bahin. This is after the previous transfer of Rs 7,000 crore in March. Shirsat believes the action is illegal and insists that the funds are for social welfare projects and cannot be used elsewhere.
