Let terrorist Razaullah Nizamani, mastermind of major attack in India be killed

New Delhi: A key Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist, Razaullah Nizamani Khalid alias Abu Saifullah Khalid, who was the brain behind the 2006 attack on the RSS headquarters, was killed by three unidentified gunmen in Sindh province of Pakistan on Sunday, officials here said.Khalid used to head the terror operations of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) from Nepal in the early 2000s, including Vinode Kumar, Mohammed Salim and Razaullah. They said he was involved in multiple terrorist attacks in India.
Officials said he left his residence in Mattley this afternoon and was shot dead by attackers near a crossroad in Badni, Sindh.

Khalid, a close partner of Abu Anas of Lashkar, was the mastermind of the attack on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur, all three terrorists were shot dead.

In addition to the RSS attack, Lashkar’s agents were also involved in the Indian Institute of Science Terrorist Attacks in Bangalore in 2005, where Professor Munish Chandra Puri, IIT Professor, was killed and four others were injured.

The terrorists fled the scene. Later, the police investigated the case and charged Abu Anas, who was still the whole person.

Khalid was also the mastermind of the deadly attack on CRPF camp in Uttar Pradesh in 2008, with seven people and one civilian killed. Two terrorists escaped under the cover of darkness.

Since the mid-2000s, Khalid was the head of the Nepal module responsible for recruiting cadres, providing financial and logistical support and promoting the movement to get agents across the Indian-Nepal border.

Khalid works closely with what we call the “Starting Commander” – Azam Cheema alias Babaji and Yaqoob (let us chief accountant).

Khalid left Nepal and returned to Pakistan after Indian security agencies exposed the module. Later, he worked closely with several leaders of Let and Jamaat-ud-dawah, including commanders of Yusuf Muzammil, Jammu and Kashmir, Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi and Muhammad Yusuf Taibi.

Khalid was tasked by Pakistan’s Let and Jud leadership to recruit new cadres from the Badin and Hyderabad districts of Sindh province and raise funds for the organization.

According to media reports in Sindh Province, Khalid was announced to be taken to the hospital after being shot. The reports also call it personal hatred.
