Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy urged the Telangana government to cooperate in the development of airports in Adilabad and Warangal to bring affordable travel to people.

“If the state government acts quickly in the acquisition of land and fully cooperate, then Valangar and Adilabad airports will be able to serve the people soon,” the minister said in a press statement on Saturday.

According to Mr Singh’s letter on April 4, the IAF will restore and develop abandoned airports in the future.

Multiple representations

Mr. Reddy, president of Telangana BJP and Secunderabad MP, accused Telangana’s Congress government of not cooperating in this regard, despite his multiple representations and a representative of former Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiradiitya Scindia.

“Once air service begins in Warangal and Adilabad, Telangana will benefit from more Udan routes, which not only enhances passenger convenience but also enhances trade and commercial development in these regions. This will also allow the middle class to use air travel in a cost-effective way to cost-effective and 3 cities on subsidized air tickets.

Last month, Mamnoor in Warangal paved a major obstacle for a civilian airport. Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu approved the No-Objection Certificate of GMR’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (based in Hyderabad) which agreed to an exemption in a clause that prohibits the development of the airport within 150 kilometers of it.

He said Adilabad is a major hub for cotton trade and a variety of agricultural products, and the Air Force Training Center in Adilabad will also provide opportunities for local communities through direct and indirect employment opportunities.
