Little driver accepts “slogan” punishment in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: Two minors caught the speed of the motorcycle on Sunday. The police were directed by Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya, who noticed the reckless driving on Saturday, and police arrested the minor and obtained details. The boys were instructed to stand at a traffic police stall near the intersection of the old collections on Sunday, showing signs with traffic rules, including slogans such as “wearing a helmet for safety.”
The face was covered with faces, and the minor attracted the attention of passers-by. Often, traffic violations are assigned social service tasks, but this approach aims to raise awareness. Police regularly consult parents to avoid allowing minors to drive.
Commissioner P. Sai Chaitanya’s initiative has gained significant traction on social media, with information shared on preventing minors from driving and promoting helmet use. Patrol police noted that they avoid chasing minors to prevent accidents, as high-speed pursuits can lead to death. They said they used CCTV footage to track offenders, especially children.
