A regular loan recovery visit took a tragic turn in Madhura Nagar Thursday night when a credit card agent ended up being bitten by pet Rotweiner because of an identity error escalating to violence.
Satyanarayana, a recovery agent, is responsible for collecting unpaid credit card dues of Rs 2 lakh from private employee Nandivardhan, landing at the address of Jawahar Nagar. Instead, he meets Shekar, also known as Nandu, who he considers to be an elusive debtor.
An official from the Madhura Nagar police station said: “Thinking that Shekar was just evasive, the agent urged him to pay. But Shekar insisted that he was not Nandivardhan and beat him up.”
The battle changes when Shekar’s unbound Rottweiler jumps into action and sinks his teeth into the agent’s left leg. Satyanarayana filed a police complaint and filed a case.
