Locomotive pilot accused his wife of brother-in-law of threatening to kill him, just like the murder of Merut
Police said Sunday that a motorcycle pilot here accused his wife and brother-in-law of giving death threats, warning him that he would encounter the same fate as the husband in the murder of Milt, whose body was cut and stuffed into a drum. In a complaint to police, he said his brother and brother-in-law also attacked him.
The complainant refers to a case in Meerut in early March in which a woman and her lover killed her husband, dismembered his body, kept it in a drum and sealed it with cement. The complainant, Sumit Kumar, a senior locomotive pilot at the railway company and a native of Gaya of Bihar, claimed in a complaint filed on Saturday that his wife and her brother heard the discussion in the plan to murder him. Sho said the couple lived in a rental house in Chitpur.
“When facing this, his wife allegedly responded that they would kill him like Mellett murdered,” the official said. Sumit has since claimed that the two had beaten him. SHO said police registered a case based on his complaint and are currently investigating the allegations.
