The WAQF (Amendment) bill (2024) is scheduled to be introduced in Parliament on Wednesday. Both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress gave their whips to their members of parliament (MPS) to ensure they were in the House. Currently, there seems to be no tendency between the national Democratic coalition led by the ruling BJP and the rulers of opposition India.
