Lokesh meets PM Modi in Delhi

Vijayawada: In a major development, IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh, along with spouse Brahmani and their son Devansh, sent courteous calls to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s official residence in Delhi on Saturday.

The meeting lasted about an hour and a half. Warmth and affection mark the meeting. The Prime Minister made bringing the family around his house a key point, and when the latter visited the Prime Minister, the privileges of AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu were not extended to AP Chief Minister.

Sources said the meeting follows Prime Minister Modi’s wish to meet with Lokesh and his family after rebooting the Amalawati capital works on May 2.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister was said to have inquired about the well-being of the Rockash family and was particularly interested in their personal and family life. He reportedly interacted cordially with the young Devansh, approaching him and having friendly conversations with him.

It is worth noting that the Prime Minister announced a coffee table book “Yuvagalam” that documented the historic 3,132 km Padayatra that Lokesh did in the 2024 election, which led to the historic victory of the Andhra Pradesh NDA league.

Lokesh’s spouse Brahmani designed the coffee table. As a symbol of appreciation, Narendra Modi signed a copy of the book and presented it to Lokesh.

In addition to personal rapport, the meeting included discussions on key issues regarding Andhra Pradesh State.

Sources hinted that in a one-on-one conversation between Modi and Lokesh, they talked about various development issues and state-level concerns.

Lokesh seeks blessings, guidance and ongoing support for the development and progress of Andhra Pradesh.

The Associated Press Minister informed Modi of a good government, and the TD-BJP-JANA SENA coalition government is delivering in Andhra Pradesh. He explained that the implementation of various welfare programs and projects, including Amaravati, the state’s financial status, and other issues related to the AP.

The meeting between PM and Lokesh is at a time when Amaravati’s reconstruction and development efforts are growing. Many view one-to-one dialogue as a potential signal of increased consistency between the center and the Andhra Pradesh government.
