Hyderabad was filled with festive spirit on ID UL-FITR on Monday (31 March 2025) as thousands of places gather in various parts of the city to commemorate the end of Ramzan with prayers, greetings and feasts.
However, when traffic traffic is allowed to move near the hockey ground of the Masab tank, it emits a sour smell, which is related to the tradition of creating traffic transfers during prayer. This creates inconvenience for commuters and those who come to pray.

Unlike previous years, this time when police stopped traffic in the area until the end of prayer, there was no such arrangement this time. As a result, public transportation, including buses, fell into trouble in the congregation, leading to chaos. Believers find that their prayers are interrupted and commuters face unexpected delays.

Despite these ics, the city celebrates its ID card with traditional enthusiasm. The man in white Salwar Kameez attended the congregational prayer at various mosques in Hyderabad starting at 7 am. The celebrations were magnified by the long weekend and stretched into Monday to get the family together to celebrate.

“A month of fasting makes the fun of ID cards even more special,” Mohed said. Abdullah, the home guard of the police department.
At home, the buzz of the festival is evident as families prepare for the celebration. The table was set up, dust was sprinkled on the shelves, and the pottery was brought out to welcome the guests. The highlight of the feast is the preparation of pure Sheer Khurma, which is the Saverature ID.
The festival also reflects the city’s cultural diversity. Sarath, an 18-year-old resident of Miyapur, eagerly awaits ID every year as his Muslim neighbors share with him the pure Khurma. “I’m waiting for Lanzan every year so we can enjoy some delicious food,” he said.
