The state government cleaned up the construction decks of the Legislative Assembly (LA) and High Court (HC) buildings by authorizing the AP-Capeal Regional Development Authority (AP-CRDA) to issue certificates of approval to Larsen & Toubro and NCC Ltd. on Thursday.
According to the issuance of Chief Secretary (Municipal Administration and Urban Development) S. Suresh Kumar, L&T is the lowest bidder for bidders, used to cite the sum of approximately Rs 61.44 crore.
NCC Ltd. packs HC construction work by citing nearly Rs 786.10 crore. The LA building will be a basement + ground + 3 floors (B+G+3) structure and HC building, a basement + ground + 7 floors (B+G+7).
The CRDA adopted a resolution to approve the work at its 46th session on April 5, 2025, and subsequently submitted the same sanctions to the government.
