ED explores the ‘ultimate beneficiary’ of Rs 2 rebates used by AAP for election funds

Tajinder Pal Singh, a professional chartered accountant and defendant in the case, approved the approver in December last year after the Delhi High Court allowed his request to be approved. The HC record under its command Singh “has given a pendrive that contains only the petitioner code, which is crucial for ED and for being able to connect the currency trail in this case”. Singh’s appeal to his approvers was previously rejected by the Sessions Court in August 2024. The meeting court order was shelved and the HC held in December held by HC. The meeting court must obtain subjective satisfaction from the prosecution agency.”
In related developments, Delhi HC last week released bail to subcontractors and co-examined Anil Kumar Aggarwal. Aggarwal is accused of submitting a certificate of performance allegedly forged and manufactured to support M/S NKG Infrastructure Co., Ltd. and based on the company’s DJB contract. ED claims Aggarwal jointly reviewed Jagdish Kumar Arora with the then-chief engineer of DJB to illegally secure the contract.
But Vijay Aggarwal, the lawyer for Aggarwal, believes that Ed’s reliance on certain Excel spreadsheets is wrong. Advocates believe that spreadsheets are nothing more than loose sheets without identity verification, authorship or supportive material. The defense lawyer further argues that the case in the prosecution is almost entirely dependent on the statements of Tajinder Pal Singh, a participant who concedes himself involved in the alleged conspiracy. The defense lawyer believes: “His (Singh) testimony is the testimony of an accomplice and is inherently contaminated.”
Ed’s lawyers, on the other hand, believe that the defendant (Anil Aggarwal) allegedly passed through virtual criminal proceeds through a fictitious entry of Rs 833.8 crore in connection with the contract.
HC, which records Aggarwal’s jail for more than a year, said: “It is obvious that the combination of long imprisonment and a significant delay in the trial progress may constitute a compelling reason for granting bail.” The court noted that Ed’s complaint (equivalent to the charge form) covers 122 volumes, including 15,750 pages. Meanwhile, the CBI’s fee schedule extended 209 volumes, including 14,385 pages, 101 witnesses prosecuted as well as dependent and outstanding documents. The High Court ruled that both trials would be intensive and procedurally complex records. The framework allegation, issuing subpoena, checking witnesses, the process of recording statements under Article 313 of the CRPC and the final final argument are unlikely to be unfolded within any brief or predictable time frame. “The High Court ruled.” In February 2024, ED attacked more than a dozen places related to Bibhav Kumar, a private secretary of former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal; ND Gupta, AAP Rajya Sabha MP; Shalabh Kumar is a former DJB member and other money laundering investigations in the case. Jagdish Kumar Arora, DJB’s chief engineer, allegedly awarded a contract for supplying, installing, testing and debugging of NKG Inforrore CR. Technical qualification standards.
The agency claims its investigation shows that NKG Infrastructure Limited secured the bid by submitting fake or false documents. It is further alleged that NKG Infrastructure Ltd. subcontracted the work to InteraalScrews Ltd., a company owned by Anil Kumar Aggarwal, who allegedly bribed Jagdish Kumar Arora for about Rs 3 crore through various means including cash and bank transactions.
